The church has a rectangular floor plan and large dimensions, with buttresses on the sides and masonry walls. A slender tower was attached to the old facade and a neoclassical façade with a linteled door was super imposed, framed by pilasters with grooves and capitals, of scarce prominence, with scrolls.

The tower has four bodies: the lower one, with  a pilaster in the corner and architrave; the second, flanked by pillars with plates in the third and upper quarter, finished off with architraves; the third one, with a balcony around and four arches with a band in the middle; and the fourth, with a balcony less and four arches lower than the upper one. It ends with a stone dome with protrusions on the surface and an iron cross.

Attached to the church, there is a rectory with an L-shaped floor plan and a gallery on the west elevation. The complex, formed by the rectory and the cemetery, is located in a high and dominant place overlooking the banks of the River Miño.
