The Nautical Park of Castrelo de Miño is a sports and leisure complex in the heart of O Ribeiro in the shore of the River Miño.
It takes up more than 45.000 square metres and counts with a big landscaping area with restaurant, café, hostel, swimming pool and a Nautical Park .
It is a referential complex for nautical sports and rowing and canoeing competitions. In the waters of the River Miño, we can also enjoy a trip on catamaran, sailing boats, windsurf and swimming.
It counts with a great public influx that searches sun basking and bathing on the piers as well as to participate in the numerous artistic activities and open air parties celebrated throughout the year. Ribeiro Blues Wine Festival, Solpores no Náutico (Nightfall in the nautical), Festa da Anguía (Eel’s Festival), Festa da Codorniz (Quail’s Festival)…
Between June and September it is possible to do a route by catamaran to enjoy beautiful views of the Miño Valley.
In July and August the swimming pool is open; it counts with two pools, one of them for children and large changing rooms and a landscaping to bask in the sun.
It also is the starting point and the end of the Ruta do Miño – O calvario- Coto de Novelle that goes along several interesting points of the council and permits to live an experience where nature, wineries landscapes and heritage are combined.
