Coto de Novelle is the highest point on the eastern bank of the Miño River, it is part of a small mountain range that separates the municipalities of Arnoia and Castrelo de Miño. It has a viewpoint located at 712 metres of altitude with a spectacular view from where you can see much of the region of O Ribeiro.

In the background we can distinguish the village of O Carballiño, Pena Corneira and Serra do Suido. In the surroundings of the viewpoint we find several telecommunication towers that are visible several kilometres away as well as reforestation pines formations.

An alternative to shorten the descent, but only recommended for agile people in good physical condition, is to descend following the line of the firebreak that permits to resume the route in the vicinity of the nucleous of Reigoso.

Whatever the direction of the route, we begin the descent that takes us back to the level of the River Miño, the hardest and steepest part has been overcomed so that we can contemplate, more calmly, the different floors of vegetation and the contrasts between the mountain and the cultivated part, preferably of vineyard, as we descend.
